Family Dentistry
My husband had two very difficult teeth pulled on a Thursday. Difficult because both teeth were imbedded in his gums. It is now Monday and he reports zero pain, both during and after the procedure. Hats off to Dr. Portacci. He was through, precise and ensured my husband experienced no discomfort or pain with this procedure. He even called to check in on him the next day. We absolutely love him MORE now:) Our dentist for life.
Dr. P and his staff are just...amazing. I went in yesterday to have my front two teeth filled. Now, the last time I had a filling in the front, I had a HORRIBLE experience (different dentist). SO, naturally, I was apprehensive about doing the front again. So many bones and it's so uncomfortable. Y'all, I didn't even feel the shots. I have no idea when he did them. I thought I knew at one point, but I wasn't sure. They were FABULOUS and the confidence I have today is everything! Thank you Dr. P and staff for being amazing and making sure I was good. I will see you all next month!

I recently had my first cleaning done with Dr. Portacci and staff. I had just moved to the Mobile area and was in need of a dentist. I saw the reviews online and thought this clinic would be the one to go to and I was not disappointed! The hygienist was extremely thorough and informative during my cleaning, which I really appreciated. She even found glue from braces from years ago that was irritating my gums that I didn’t even know about and my previous dental Hygienist from a different office never even noticed! When Dr. Portacci came in to check things over at the end, he was extremely kind, knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and I never felt rushed through my visit. When it came time for check out, I had some bonding work that I was thinking about getting done and the front office was already able to tell me the cost of everything if I wanted to go through with it or not. They didn’t even make me schedule a different appointment to discuss options like a lot of previous offices I’ve been to had. On top of all that, I appreciated how serious they are taking COVID and their check in and check out process made me feel at ease. I would recommend this dental office to anyone in the area! So grateful for the work that they do!
I have extremely sensitive teeth and dental cleanings are usually very,very painful. Stacey did a wonderfully pain free cleaning!! She worked around my health issues to keep me comfortable. Dr. Portacci was thorough in explaining what my options are with some work I need performed. The whole office is state of the art and also very safe in the midst of COVID. Every single person I came in contact with was awesome. I’m so thankful I found this dental office!
Was super nervous today was suppose to have a root canal but unfortunately was unable to save the tooth. Didn’t feel a thin. Besides all the tools. They took good care of me. Super nice and professional. They make sure you are comfortable. The staff is always nice!! I highly recommend this dentist!! Keep up the good work !! Y’all rock!!!
Dr. Portacci and his staff are excellent. I've had a few procedures and a cleaning now and have been extremely happy. The procedures have been as pain free as possible, the work has been flawless, and have utilized the latest dental technology. Additionally they have done a great job managing my care with respect to my insurance and keeping my out of pocket costs low.
Dr. Portacci has been my dentist for years now and I can honestly say he is one of the kindest, most caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing. He always calls to follow up with his patients the evening after completing a procedure. It's a small gesture that goes a long way. The staff is very friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a dentist who genuinely cares about you and your wellbeing then look no further. Dr. Portacci is your guy!
